promoting Upstate Farms, a distribution company
Last year, I met Jan Greer and Mike Kokas. Their distribution company, Upstate Farms, brings products from small family farms in upstate NY down to New York City’s best restaurants.
I created a website for them, and this season we established a CSA for their farm, Paisley Farm. We sold out in record time!
When we first started discussing imagery for their site, we considered using some of Romain Urhausen's historic photos of Les Halles in Paris, below. They are a wonderful depiction of food moving through a city.
